Hello everyone! How was your weekend? Superstar Babe memang penat sangat kerana pada hari Sabtu yang lalu, Superstar Babe dapat peluang untuk pergi ke Pesta Malam Indonesia 2! Waaaaaahhhh teruja Superstar Babe dengan artis-artis Indonesia seperti Unggu, Peterpan dan Slank!!!! HEhe.... lepas tu Ahad pula dapat pergi konsert Gang Starz. Lagipun, konsert Ahad lalu bukannya konsert biasa sebab ia merupakan konsert amal Gang Starz!!
Konsert amal ni diadakan untuk mengutip dana bagi orang susah melalui tabung amal TV3, so everyone got together to entertain for a good cause. Juri tetap setiap minggu iaitu Sheikh Haikel dan Ajai pun turut membuat persembahan... wah wah wah.... Tapi yang pastinya, Superstar Babe memang terasa syiok sangat pada hari tu sebab ia bukan konsert biasa. If it was, then Superhero Faizal Tahir wouldn't have opened the show with a smashing perforamance, right??
Eh, tapi mana si Fafau pulak? Takkan satu hos je yang menyumbang kepada performance pada malam charity ni??? Ohhh... rupa-rupanya, she did back-up vocals for him...
Wahhhh...I thought this arrangement was quite interesting... bukannya selalu kita nampak Fafau bernyanyi kan??? HAha, except for the time when she and Faizal opened the very first Gang Starz concert with a duet, which I thought was very cute. Walau apa pun, let's show some love to Gang Starz season 1 champions DeLima!
And they weren't the only Gang Starz alumni to make an appearance. Remember this group?? Hmmmm.... funny, Superstar Babe tak nampak pun diorang bersosial dengan contestant tahun ni... kenapa ek?? For you guys who watched the show, kalau terpulang kepada anda untuk memberi bintang kepada performance malam tu, berapa yang akan dibagikan kepada kumpulan Flava?? Hmmm...rasanya Superstar Babe bagi 3 bintang! hehe...
Flava Flava Flava... hmmmm .... what's your Flava? Kalau Superstar Babe nak flava petai camne?? Haha, ok la joking je... jangan marah yek... let's move on now to Paragon Child's performance for the night, who sang the song 'You're Beautiful' by James Blunt.
I'm sure there were many ladies out there who terpengsan bila Paragon Child nyanyi lagu ni....mesti cair!! Hehe, kepada peminat (wanita) Paragon Child, Superstar Babe nak tahu... kalau one of them dedicated this song to you, macamana? Pengsan tak? But I think, no matter who it is, if anyone dedicated a song to me, I would definitely pengsan-mati-cair. Can you imagine pula kalau you kena berduet dengan Ajai????
This one pulak macamana? 3 starz? 4 starz??? Hmmmm kalau ikut Superstar Babe, I would give them 4 starz for baju (Kiki's skirt cantik bangat!) and 5 starz for performance. Takes alot of guts to perform with a judge, and alot of.... (fill in the blank) to perform with a contestant. Walau apa pun, pada pendapat Superstar Babe, Kiki sangat bertuah kerana dapat perform dengan Ajai, plus I enjoyed that performance. Eh, since every week Superstar Babe cerita tentang persembahan je, this time round, I want to talk about fashion pulak lah... Ok, seperti mana yang kita tahu, kumpulan Akasia ni memang ada 'cop' makcik setiap kali. Do you think that's still the case? Mari kita compare masa konsert pertama dan sekarang...
 
I think we can all see an improvement.. .tak tahulah tapi bab gaya fesyen dan stail ni memang subjektif sikit... so you tell me what you think.... ada imrpovement ke tak?? Pada pendapat Superstar Babe, memang ada... tengoklah gambar dulu dan sekarang.... Rambut bagi saya dah improve, and they're no longer that awkward on stage. I can see a sparkle of confidence in their eyes and it shows through their body language and presence on stage. What do you think? Anyways, here's another reason why I enjoyed last Sunday's show... one of my favorite female vocalists performed as well!
She sang 'Selalu Denganmu' dengan stail Atilia yang tersendiri... syioknyer! But if you think that's it, you better think again.... last Sunday also saw one very unique and long overdue performance by laser-mouth, tough-cookie advisor Azmeer himself who reportedly has not performed on stage like this in 15 years!
And this was no ordinary performance as it was featuring prominent and extremely talented guitarist Hillary Ang!! Syiok!! But takkanlah persembahan dari tenaga pengajar berhenti di situ je kan?? Advisor koreografi Sazlan Adnan juga turut mengambil kesempatan untuk menonjolkan bakatnya bersama-sama dengan peserta dari Gang Starz. I really really liked the dynamics of this performance... I thought that it was great, seeing the advisor performing with his 'students' and I loved the energy!!!
After that, 3.5 performed with the Mariah Carey track 'Hero' in true diva style..
Hmmmm but speaking of 3.5, Superstar Babe terdengar khabar orang komen bahawa berat badan Steph telah turun semenjak berada dalam program Gang Starz ni.... so Superstar Babe pun bersusah payah menggali foto lama dari konsert pertama to let you judge for yourselves...
Ooooo but Superstar Babe nak cerita sikit tentang group Filipina nii...Superstar Babe tak beberapa pasti, tapi ada desas-desus yang mengatakan bahawa ada member dari kumpulan 3.5 yang hangat bercinta dengan salah seorang jejaka dari Paragon Child.... tapi itu cerita lama. Disini ada update sikit... rupa-rupanya, jejaka dari PC tu berpaling tadah and all I have to say is... "uh-oh... kamu ketahuan, pacaran lagi... dengan dirinya... teman baikku"... ADUH!!! Pada masa kritikal macam ni pun nak buat hal macam ni ke??? Bak kata pepatah Sazlan, "FOKUS GUYS!"
And here's something you don't see everyday (not here in MAlaysia at least...) Juri tetap Sheikh Haikel pun performed his song yang bertajuk 'With You Lah'... Kalau tak silap mata I, Sheikh Haikel actually danced on stage (a little).. mostly booty shaking.... whoaaaaaaa...
This is what I'd like to call 'bringing out the big guns' and 'saving the best for last' Speaking of which, sometimes you can tell/ predict a show's outcome by taking note of the order in which they bring out their performers, especially in a reality competition show like Gang Starz. The final two performances for the night came from One Nation Emcees and D'Reborn. Are the producers of the show trying to tell us something you think?? Will the final concert on 24 August this coming Sunday boil down to a certain Indonesian group versus Malaysia??
I know we all have predictions about the champion of Gang Starz this season, but who do you think it will boil down to??
